THE WHITE STORM STORY

John Mangoye, age 4, froze to death August 10, 2013 in a Ugandan village. John was the first fatality of an extreme hail storm (the White Storm) that dropped two-to-four feet of hail on the Bududa District. Since the storm and resulting floods and land slides 2,000 villagers are now at risk of starving to death. Join Kissito.org as we work to find ways to get food, clean water and shelter to those 2,000 villagers.

LET'S SAVE THE TWO THOUSAND!

1. DONATE $1, $5 OR MORE

One hailstone can’t bring down a village, but thousands of stones together can. One dollar won’t feed a village, but thousands of $1 donations can. Donate what you have, what you can.

2. BUY ORIGINAL ARTWORK

Kissito believes in creating sustainable work and revenue for villagers. Buy a piece of original artwork and help create a demand for art work by village artists.

3. TELL ME MORE

Read The White Storm blog, written by the people on the ground, working with the villagers over the next year. See photos and videos to keep updated about what’s happening.

100% of all proceeds will go to buy food for the villagers in Bushiyi, Uganda
